This Privacy Policy explains how Takshvi Trade ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use our platform at takshvitrade.com.
1. Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data when you register or use our platform:
- Email address (required for account creation and login)
- Full name (required for account identification)
- WhatsApp phone number (optional — only if you enable alerts)
- Capital amount (optional — used only to calculate signal position sizes)
- Trade journal entries you log manually (WIN/LOSS outcomes)
- Scan history (timestamps and signal counts — not full signal data)
- Payment information (processed entirely by Razorpay — we do not store card details)
2. How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your account
- To deliver WhatsApp alerts (only if you enable this feature)
- To calculate position sizes based on your capital preference
- To track your trade journal outcomes (stored against your account)
- To send transactional emails (account creation, password reset)
- To process subscription payments via Razorpay
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Data We Do NOT Sell or Share
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is never used to train machine learning models without your explicit consent.
4. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — database hosting (EU/US data centres). Your data is encrypted at rest.
- Twilio / WhatsApp Business API — used to deliver alerts to your registered number only.
- Razorpay — payment processing. We share only your email and name for payment prefill. Card/UPI data is handled entirely by Razorpay and never touches our servers.
- Railway / Vercel — hosting infrastructure. No personal data is stored at the infrastructure level beyond server logs.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, name, phone) is deleted within 30 days. Trade journal entries and scan history are deleted immediately on account deletion. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian accounting law.
6. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
- Nominate a person to exercise rights on your behalf

7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies for session management (login state). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.) are present on this platform.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.3). Database access is restricted to our backend API only. We do not store plain-text passwords or payment card details.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
